GLUTEN FREE PIZZA WITH OLIVES +

HEIRLOOM TOMATOES

My last meal will be pizza – in every shape and form.

I love it so much, that I once went to Italy for two days solely to eat authentic pizza (and a lot of gelato – I mean, A LOT). But of course, finding a delicious gluten free pizza is not easy, until now! 

Trader Joes has created this delicious gluten free crust made entirely of cauliflower. It’s like I’m eating veggies for dinner, right?

Serving Size: 1 pizza crust


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pizza crust from Trader Joes Cauliflower Pizza Crust box

  • ¼ cup of Kalamata olives (or whichever olives you like)

  • ¼ cup of pesto (you can choose to use marinara sauce instead)

  • 1 handful of fresh basil leaves

  • 1 heirloom tomato (any color will do!)

INSTRUCTIONS

*Follow instructions on the back of the box*

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F

  • Remove the crust and place it upside down on a sheet pan, covered with parchment paper (using foil might cause the crust to stick)

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, flip it over and bake for another 10-12 minutes. I like my crust extra crispy, so I baked mine for 12 minutes and then broiled for 3 minutes after both sides had baked

  • Top the crust with all your desired toppings and broil for another 4-5 minutes until the crust has browned on the edges and the sauce is bubbling
